    Staying at The Dostyk exceeded my expectations. The staff greeted us with warm smiles upon arrival. They swiftly checked us in and offered valuable tips on exploring Almaty. My suite was enormous with a dining and sitting area, feel like a home away from home. The bathroom featured a luxurious jacuzzi and private sauna. Room service was efficient and discreet. Breakfast deliveries were as quiet as promised, great to enjoy peaceful mornings. The bar's elegant wooden interior offered a charming vibe, even though it was closed . The minibar's cooling was slightly disappointing. Drinks were lukewarm instead of refreshing. The breakfast variety also lacked novelty. We noticed no change in the options . A more diverse menu would greatly enhance the dining experience. The positives outweighed the negatives.

    Liked sensational breakfast, well-equipped room.

    By and large, it was incredible base for sightseeing in Almaty, had much fun and met very supportive and responsive staff in their efforts to ensure their guests enjoyed their stay as best as they could. Its magnificent, central location was a plus. The beds were big, I slept well. The large bathroom and the rest was fairly clean.

    Everything was good....especailly the Breakfast)))

    Well......when we arrived at the Hotel we discovered that if we had booked direct with the hotel we would have saved over 14000 tenge (appox 60 GBP on our stay)...so not a happy Bunny)))

    Just finished a week at The Dostyk with my family. The staff’s kindness, and the beautiful king room was super comfy. Loved the clean pool too! A bit noisy at times, but overall, a fantastic experience!

    Room are nice and comfortable, location is good.

    Internet access is unreliable. The front desk staff speaks good english, but the others are not really: I had difficulty to figure out the details of the Spa facility, because my Russian and the lady's Englush was not good enough to work it out.

    location was perfect for the visiting all my clients in the main streets.hotel rooms and bahtrooms very clean.staff doesnt speak perfect english but helfull.Spa ,pool and gym was exelent.

    i think a littel bit expencive for the season. hotel was emty but still cost me more then i tought.

    Curtains fail to block sunlight effectively, limiting sleep quality in summer!!! Minibar does not cool drinks adequately, leading to lukewarm refreshments!!! Air conditioning needs improvement for a fresher atmosphere!!!
